Laurie Lamon

Congratulations to my friend and first poetry mentor, Laurie Lamon, who has two poems up at Poetry Daily today. The poems are "Pain Thinks of Alcibiades" and "Prime Number," both from her recent second collection, Without Wings.

I especially enjoy the lines "where nothing is meant to return
the explosion to the briefcase of work at her feet"

Thanks for visiting, Keith. Quite right about those lines. The poem certainly downshifts there and then accelerates into the fast lane.
